The 150th anniversary of the Society of St. Teresa of Jesus in Our Lady Queen Province was marked by a profound atmosphere of joy, praise, gratitude and commitment. In each place, the celebration became a living expression of a shared history, of a mission that continues to generate life and hope in the communities where we are present. We are now receiving the first news of these experiences, which will certainly continue to grow and multiply throughout this jubilee year. <\/p>\n\n
In Canhe<\/strong>, in the city of Huambo, the feast was celebrated with special tenderness with the children of the Children's Center, in a Eucharist full of simplicity and joy. Also at the Santa Cruz Shrine, the community gathered to give thanks for the journey they had made and to renew their desire to continue educating and accompanying in the way of Jesus. In the Chapel of the Cacilhas Community, with the Interprovincial Novitiate, the celebration was a strong sign of the future, vocation and commitment. <\/p>\n\n In the city of Lubango<\/strong>, the commemoration took place at the Parish of the Immaculate Conception, with the presence of Archbishop Emeritus Zacarias Kamwenho, together with his contemporaries Sisters Rosa S\u00e1nchez and Maria Dolores, in a gathering full of grateful memories. The pre-novices of the St. Anthony community also joined in the Eucharist, reaffirming their journey of discernment and formation. <\/p>\n\n In S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9<\/strong>, the celebration was attended by Dom Jo\u00e3o Nazar\u00e9, bishop of the diocese, strengthening the bonds of communion and mission with the local Church.
