Like any important event, the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Society of St. Teresa has been preceded by a time of preparation that the Teresians have lived with enthusiasm and care.
During this stage we have designed and disseminated the logo that we will use to accompany and give meaning to the anniversary. A logo that is the fruit of discernment and sharing of sisters and lay people of the Teresian Family from different parts of the world.
We highlight 3 main elements in the logo:
1. The 150: what we celebrate, the 150 years of life of the Society of St. Teresa of Jesus. We give thanks for its past, celebrate its present and look forward to its future.
2. The warp: Represents the history of the Society as a set of diverse threads that intertwine harmoniously to create a fabric, a network, that has meaning in itself and that is inspiration and hope for the world.
STJ: Our hallmark, Societas Sanctae Teresiae a Iesu. Society of St. Teresa of Jesus. We celebrate, above all, the joy of being Teresian, a very concrete way of being and being in the world to which we feel particularly called.
A logo that captures a story of inspiration, meaning and hope interwoven with others.
Help us spread the slogan and logo by using them in all the events and messages celebrating the anniversary in your province, work, community, or association of the Teresian Family.
