We make available to the entire Teresian Family the workshop "REDiscovering the Route of Ossó", a proposal designed to go on pilgrimage, celebrate and allow ourselves to be transformed together, designed especially for educators .
This workshop invites us to visit, in an experiential and participatory way, some of the key places in the life of Enrique de Ossó, getting in touch with his vital and spiritual experience, and connecting it with our own reality today. It is not about "visiting" his biography as tourists, but to walk as pilgrims, allowing ourselves to be touched by the road and by what the Spirit continues to whisper to the Teresian Family 150 years later.
The proposal is articulated as a virtual pilgrimage through different significant places (Vinebre, Tortosa, Montserrat, the Desert of the Palms and Sancti Spiritu), with simple dynamics, times of contemplation, group work and symbolic gestures, culminating in a final celebration in Tarragona, the cradle of the Society.
In addition, this workshop is intended to be a starting point for a particularly fruitful year. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary, we encourage you to share all the pastoral initiatives that arise throughout the course around the figures of Enrique de Ossó, Teresa of Jesus or Teresian spirituality. All of them can be hosted and disseminated on the website of the 150th anniversary, so that the entire Teresian Family can know them, be inspired and enjoy this time of common grace.
We deeply believe that this year is not only to remember, but to rekindle the charism, strengthen the network and continue dreaming together of a transformative education and mission, in the Teresian style.
We thank Lucía Astiz, Daniel Zurera and Mauge Aranda stj, of the Pastoral Area Team of the Teresian Educational Foundation, for their work.
