The plurality of the Society lives with strength the Easter season and the stage of meaning of its 150th anniversary

The Society of St. Teresa of Jesus continues to celebrate its 150th anniversary in a climate of deep Easter experience, marked by the joy of the Resurrection and the momentum of a new stage in the itinerary of the year. This news summarizes how, in different parts of the world, the Teresian Family is living and sharing with intensity this time, now focused on the stage "Being Teresian: a meaningful life".

After completing the initial stage of "Inspiration", this new phase began on April 2, which invites us to deepen our identity, strengthen our sense of belonging and renew our commitment to our educational and evangelizing mission.

During Holy Week, the different communities of the Society have experienced celebrations full of meaning, creativity and missionary spirit. In countries such as Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, sisters and collaborators have accompanied parish communities, young people and families, participating in liturgical celebrations, formative spaces and missionary experiences in diverse contexts, from urban environments to rural and indigenous communities.

These days have been marked by shared prayer, community experience and service, highlighting moments such as the renewal of vows and Easter vigils. Easter has thus become an opportunity to renew our faith and reaffirm our commitment to the Gospel based on the Teresian charism.

At the same time, within the framework of this second stage of the anniversary, several initiatives are being promoted that seek to update the legacy of Enrique de Ossó and make it accessible to new generations. Campaigns in social networks, a Challenge on Enrique de Ossó, spaces for reflection, audiovisual materials and collaborative projects are favoring the encounter between provinces and the strengthening of a shared identity at a global level.

Overall, this Easter season is being lived as a moment of grace for the entire Teresian Family: an opportunity to return to the origin, to give thanks for the road traveled and to project ourselves into the future with hope. The 150th anniversary is consolidated as a living process that encourages us to continue building community and mission from the deep sense of being Teresians today.
