A message of thanks from the Committee in charge of organizing the 150th Anniversary to each and every member of the Company of Saint Teresa:
As this International Gathering marking the 150th anniversary of the Company of Saint Teresa of Jesus comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say a simple yet profound word: THANK YOU. Thank you to everyone who, in one way or another, has made this gathering possible. Thank you to those of you who have been there from the very beginning—imagining, preparing, organizing, dreaming, and shaping every detail. Thank you to those of you who have dedicated your time, energy, talent, and heart. To those of you who have said “yes” with generosity, even when it meant changing plans, joining forces, or working behind the scenes. Thank you to those of you who have welcomed, accompanied, coordinated, prepared spaces, overseen celebrations, resolved unexpected issues, kept things running smoothly, and made sure that everyone could feel at home. Thank you for the work that’s visible—and for the work that no one has seen.
These past few days we have experienced something very Teresian: that a shared endeavor is never built solely by the organization, but by many hands and one heart. That here too, amid meetings, lists, registrations, impromptu rehearsals, conversations, and celebrations, the Lord has been walking with us. You have helped us bring to life much more than just a gathering: you have helped create an experience of family, of international community, of grateful remembrance, and of a shared future. As Teresa would say, we have sought to put love into our work. And once again we have discovered that when love is present, everything takes on a new meaning.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we want to tell you that we are deeply grateful. We will carry with us the faces, names, and dedication of each and every one of you. May all the good experiences we’ve shared over these past few days continue to bear fruit wherever each of you goes from here.

The Company of Saint Teresa also appreciates and is grateful for the tremendous work the Commission has done in organizing an event of such magnitude, in which, nevertheless, everything—down to the smallest detail—has been carefully attended to, thought through, prayed over, and cherished. Thank you to each of the sisters on the Committee for your quiet dedication to making everything perfect. Thank you, Carmen, Angie, Rosana, Neus, Sagrario, and Thelma. Thank you for making us feel like part of this story. Let’s keep celebrating!
