The script for the Eucharist on January 27th is ready.

Jan 7, 2026

The 150th anniversary organizing committee has prepared a guideline for the opening Eucharist on January 27 and for the vigil of the previous day, which we invite you to celebrate in all those places where it is possible. Sharing together the same simple outline of celebrations will help us to feel united in the distance and to share in unison the start of this anniversary.

Both this script and that of the Eucharist are offered in several languages. However, they are indicative and each local reality can adapt or introduce in the celebration the charismatic symbols and songs that are most significant for it.

The prayer vigil proposes suggestions for a setting and a development in two moments. The first, the warp that God has been weaving in these 150 years of life and secondly, the inspiration of the founding of the Society of St. Teresa.

The outline for the Eucharist suggests an entrance procession, together with the priests, carrying the flag of the Society, a relic of the Founder, the Constitutions and the Word. The script also offers a specific entrance monition, the readings and various petitions. As offerings, a bowl of mustard seeds and the 150th anniversary logo are presented along with the bread and wine. Finally, a thanksgiving is shared for the inspiration, the sisters called, the charism, for all the people who are part of the Teresian family and for the present and future challenges and calls.

In this free access folder you can access the scripts in several languages and share them with those who will organize the Eucharist.
