Internconate: a formative and meeting space for parents of Teresian schools.

Apr 17, 2026

As part of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Society of St. Teresa, the Province of Mexico has lived an initiative that has managed to connect schools, communities and families in different parts of the world. This commemoration has become a beautiful experience that reaffirms that the charism of Enrique de Ossó is still alive and well today.

What began as a proposal to celebrate a century and a half of shared history has evolved into an authentic movement of global unity. The initiative has sought to go beyond geographical boundaries to bring together the entire Teresian family in the same spirit of communion, gratitude and hope.

Throughout the meetings, activities and symbolic gestures carried out during these days, the Society not only recalled its past, but also strongly projected its commitment to education, evangelization and social transformation into the future.

Beyond the commemorative acts, this celebration has generated visible fruits in different areas. Theinternational connection between the provinces where the Society is present hasbeen strengthened, favoring a spiritual and cultural bridge that enriches the shared identity. Likewise, the Teresian identity has been reinforced, with special emphasis on interiority and service. Active participation has been another of the great signs of this initiative, with theinvolvement of students, educators, families, alumni and collaborators, all of them protagonists of this historic anniversary.

There are repeated feelings of joy, gratitude and belonging to a great educational family that has been able to transmit, generation after generation, its mission from the heart. The general feeling of this 150th anniversary is one of renewed hope. You can see it in the eyes of the students, in the fraternal embrace of the sisters and in the enthusiasm of the families. More than a celebration of the past, this anniversary is becoming a reaffirmation of the present and a projection towards the future, with the shared desire to continue “knowing and loving Jesus in order to make him known and loved by all”.
