Last Saturday, March 14, a Challenge Ossó Pilgrims' Meeting was held at the virtual hostel, a space designed to share the experience lived along the way, strengthen bonds and recognize each other as part of the same family.
The meeting, which brought together about 35 pilgrims from three continents - Africa(Angola and Ivory Coast), Europe (Spain) and America (Mexico, Colombia and Uruguay) - brought together sisters, laywomen and former students. The main objective of this meeting was to generate a space of communion where the participants could expresswhat stage of the Challenge they are in, how they are living it and what resonances it is leaving in their lives.
The initial moment of prayer, centered on the Beatitudes, set the tone of the meeting, inviting each pilgrim to identify the one that most illuminated her current moment. From there, profound testimonies emerged, reflecting the richness and diversity of the shared journey.

It is especially significant how the Challenge Ossó is being lived both in a communitarian way - in formative contexts such as the pre-novitiate and juniorate in Africa, or the novitiate in America - and in a personal way, respecting the rhythm of each participant. The flexibility of the format, as well as the availability in several languages, has been highly valued by the pilgrims, who express feeling more and more a living part of the Teresian Family and discovering new facets of the spirit of Enrique de Ossó.
This virtual hostel has undoubtedly been a sign of encounter, openness and universality in this special year of the 150th anniversary of the Society of St. Teresa. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to join this experience!
